David Daniel Villavicencio

May 8, 1945 - February 20, 2020

David D. Villavicencio was born on May 8, 1945 in San Bernardino to Ismael and Paula Villavicencio. He passed away on February 19, 2020.

He attended school in Fontana and San Bernardino. He graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1963. He served in the Army in 1965 to 1967.

He graduated from San Bernardino Valley College in 1986 with his Associates of Science Degree.

He worked at Kaiser Steel in Fontana and California Steel Inc. where he retired in 2000.

David was married to Rachel for over 48 years. They divorced but Rachel still took good care of him especially in the last 2 years with the help of his daughters and grandchildren.  He lived with Rachel and his youngest daughter Jade Dell and her children.

David loved to make model planes, trains, and cars.  He loved to watch football with his grandson. 

David is survived by his former wife, Rachel Villavicencio, daughters, Tammy Russell, Desiree Sauceda, and Jade Dell. His grandchildren Michael and Nicholas Martinez, Cheyenne Sauceda, Lauren, Christa, and Kaylee Dell, and Christopher and Isabella Russell. His great grandchildren Nathaniel and Kassandra Martinez and Paul Nava. He is preceded in death by his father Ismael and Paula Villavicencio, sister Esmeralda and brothers Smiley and Daniel Villavicencio.

A private funeral will be held at Riverside National Cemetery with graveside services on March 12 at 2:15. A memorial/reception will be held later.
