Bradley Michael Ballay
April
15, 1970 - January 21, 2016
It
is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bradley Michael Ballay.
Born on April 15, 1970, at Park Avenue Hospital in Pomona. He grew up in Alta
Loma and remained in the area for all of his life. He has many community
connections and it was almost impossible to go somewhere with him without
running into someone he knew. Brad was 45 at the time of his death and leaves
behind his wife and eternal companion Gwendolyn and his bright and beautiful
daughter Tiffany as well as both parents Ron and Marnee and two brothers Bob (Dianne)
and Mike(Jackie) along with many nieces and nephews. His close friendships
meant a great deal to him and he leaves a void in Ryan's and Skye's lives. He
will also be greatly missed by his furry four legged friends. He was active in
his church and there are many in his ward who will miss him deeply. He had held
a position as Elders Quorum President, Assistant secretary in the Bishopric and
his most loved position was Ward Mission Leader. He owned and ran Acoustical Ceilings
with his brother Bob for most of his adult life and dealt with the physical
limitations and pain he had with grace and dignity. He loved a good story and
always took his time in telling it well. He particularly loved camping and
driving his truck at Glamis, as well as boating and riding his motorcycle. He
was a big fan of nascar since he was a child. Family was always a priority for
him and he would go out of his way to make you feel important in his life. His
smile and sparkling blue eyes would light up a room. He will be deeply missed.

Our
thoughts and prayers are with the family for your loss. We remember when we
babysat for Bob, Mike and Brad when they lived in a trailer park in Pomona. Our
paths have crossed numerous times with Marnee and Ron over the years. God Bless

and I met Brad and Gwen at Russ Thompson Stables in 2012. We quickly became
'horse buddies' and shared many fears and accomplishments with our horses. We
fell, and we got back up! Brad was kind enough to take pictures at the horse
show for me when Gwen had to work. He sat in the bleachers and cheered me on.
It meant so much to me. And when we did our show together, he was right there
cheering Gwen on. He will be greatly missed. Our hearts are so heavy for you
all.
