Hannah Louise Boone

January 28, 1935 - January 15, 2016

Rev. Hannah Louise (King) Boone was born on 28 January 1935 and it must have been a beautiful day for an Angel was born, in Belhaven, NC. She was called home on 15 January 2016 in Riverside, CA. She will be deeply missed. We have lost one of God’s Angels. She leaves behind 4 children, Janice Lovett, Anthony Boone, Albert Boone and Everett Boone and 2 brothers, Henry King and Willie Dudley, and many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She loved family and would do all she could for us. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett M L Boone. She was a wife and mother, a teacher and a minister, a godmother and an aunt. To many people she was many things. My mother received her call to minister late in life and she never looked back. She lead the ladies worship group. She was a Sunday school teacher at Palma Ceia Baptist Church in Hayward, CA. She was also a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Riverside, CA. Her duties with the church were many and she would help anyone who asked for it. She made everyone feel welcome in her home. She would bless you in and pray you out. She made sure you knew you were always in her prayers. Mama believed in the power of God. She believed with His help you could overcome anything. My mother was a powerful prayer and her faith always showed. My mother loved her childhood in Belhaven so much so that each summer as kinds we would all go down for a few weeks with my great grandma. It was a high light of my childhood. She made sure we understood family and she would add many people to our family over the years by bringing them under her wing. The family would like to take this time to thank everyone for their help and support during my mother’s illness. May God bless her soul and keep her for times. A special thank you to Maudie Wilson who was my mama’s best friend here and her rock and who has become my rock also. Words can’t really thank you enough, but we love you.

So sorry to read about Louise I was her neighbor when the family lived in N.C. on the Marine Corp base she was really a friend. I even went to Belhaven with her one weekend. Family you all have my sympathy and my prayers are with you.
