Anthony "Tony" John Sanchez Jr. On the morning of Monday February 15, 2016, Tony passed away in Upland CA as a result of Cancer at the age of 54. Tony was born in Chicago, IL on November 12, 1961. He was one of two sons in a family of 5 siblings, to Gordon and Olga Parsons. Tony grew up in Fountain Valley, CA where he ran Cross Country and Track and played drums in the Marching Band at Fountain Valley High School. He lived his adult life in Riverside County with his cousin and best friend Jose' Edwards. Tony attended Faith & Praise Fishers of Men Church every Sunday, where he enjoyed singing and playing the instruments. During Tony's life he enjoyed playing drums to rock music, water skiing, working on cars, watching football (a hardcore San Francisco 49'ers fan), drinking a "soda", hanging out with his dogs and spending time with his family and friends. Tony is survived by his parents; Gordon and Olga Parsons, his sisters; Sylvia Melcher and Desiree' Lynch, his Uncle; Raphael Cardenas, his cousins; Juanita Gentry, Jose' Edwards, Trianna Weeks and Carrie Cardenas, his niece and nephews; Christine Bonnichsen, Travis Pulsipher, Jason Pulsipher, Nick Pulsipher and Shane Lynch. Tony's family will hold an intimate memorial service on his parents property "the cabin" and his ashes will be spread beneath his childhood tree-house and in the ocean. Tony will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
