grandmother, nurse, best friend, woman of God, and a loving soul who never met
a stranger. Born: May 11th 1936 in Petoskey Michigan Died: February 17th 2016
Kay moved to Bakersfield, California in 1955, where she met the love of her
life, Euel Tracy Tackett. Tracy and Kay were happily married for almost 57
years. Kay loved Family! She did not recognize ½, steps, or adopted, they are
all plain and simply family. She is survived by her Husband, 4 children, 8
grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and two sisters. She had 4 sisters and 6
brothers. Kay was very smart. She gave good advice without being pushy. She
went to nursing school in 1953 and was in nursing for 36 years. But she
continued to be medically helpful to family and friends her whole life. She
liked music. Her children remark how she was always singing and dancing. When
Kay retired at the age of 55, they sold the house, bought a motorhome, and hit
the road. They traveled all over the Country and met many friends. Kay didn’t
know any strangers. She was very outgoing and her friends and family describe
her as a lot of fun. Kay was a Christian and brought her kids up in a
respectable manner. Their Faith in Jesus Christ assures them that she is in
Heaven with Him. How would one be able to go through such hard times without
Faith in Him? Psalm 23, Ephesians 3:10-20, Hebrews 11:6, John 3:16 Songs to
sing for her: Great is thy Faithfulness, How great is our God. Will the circle
be unbroken. Kay told of a dream she had where she was brought up into the air
with her legs kicking behind her flying like superman and taken thru a Jesus
spirit/body wash singing “What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of
Jesus. ” before going to Heaven.
