Kathryn Lyn Cleavelin 8/17/1955-4/24/2016 Kathryn Lyn Cleavelin passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday morning April 24, 2016 at 60 years of age. She succumbed to liver failure peacefully during sleep in Hemet, California. Kathryn also known as Kathy was born in Arcadia to parents William Perrin Cleavelin and Donna Lee Roberts. She is survived by her children Robert David McKinn and Marie McKinn and siblings William P. Cleavelin Jr, Roberta Propst, Lisa Del Priorie, Jacquelyn Burse, and Jean Marie Arellano. Kathy grew up in the Covina, California area and resided there for the majority of her life. She worked as an Escrow Officer for over 20 years. She will be missed. Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 12p.m. graveside at Forest Lawn 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA 91724. Please meet in lobby at 11:30 a.m. so that we may follow each other to the top of the hill as one. I remember a Kathy that none of you knew. I remember a four-year-old and the first trip to Disneyland, my first trip, too, and maybe Donnas. Donna, Kathy and I rode together in a tiny boat down a quiet little river, seeing favorites. I remember the wonder and delight on her pretty little face as we passed Mr. Toad's mushroom home as the lights came through the windows at twilight. Must have been well over fifty years ago. I have so many memories with Kathy but I really loved the way she would laugh when I would turn on stand-up comedy shows. Once it was Kevin Nealon and I never heard her laugh cry so hard. I loved to see her with joy and happiness.
