Anthony "Tony" Bentiste

Anthony “Tony” Bentiste Tony passed away May 30, 2016 at his home on the Soboba Indian Reservation surrounded by his family. He was born March 2, 1946 in San Bernardino, CA. Tony worked for Skyline for 33 years before retiring and then worked for the Noli Indian School for 8 years. He loved softball, golfing and helping others. Tony loved his family and his friends dearly. Tony is predeceased by his parents, Frances Arres and Norbert Arres Sr and his two brothers, David Bentiste and Norbert “Bud” Arres. He is survived by his daughter, Anna (Michael) Brittian, his son, Michael (Laura) Bentiste, brothers, Fred Arres and Gord Arres and sisters, Carlene Arres, Vicky Arres, Marilyn Arres, Betty Arres, Millie Arres and grandchildren Eric Brittian, Joshua Bentiste, Mariah Brittian and Taylor Bentiste, all from Soboba Indian Reservation. Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Inland Memorial Harford Chapel in Hemet. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Soboba Indian Reservation Cemetery in San Jacinto, CA.
