Brian Louis Shephard

Brian
Louis Shephard passed away May 25th 2016 in his home, after a battle with
cancer; he was surrounded by his loved ones. Brian was born in Riverside,
California on December 30th, 1966; to proud parents Michael and Diane Shephard.
Brian resided in Riverside where he attended Liberty and Harrison Elementary
schools, Gage Middle School and Arlington High School. As a child, he enjoyed
family trips to the river where he loved to knee board. He participated in
little league and played basketball with his brother, Kevin. As a youth, he
participated in 4-H programs. Brian was knowledgeable in animal husbandry,
agriculture and enjoyed gardening in the summers. Brian worked many years in
construction, alongside his father and brother. He adored his children Chelsea,
Dylan and Olyvia, they were his joy. For the past ten years Brian resided in
Yucaipa, California with his family. Prior to his death he was focused on his
relationship with the Lord. Brian always had a friendly smile, a loving sense
of humor and will be dearly missed. Brian Is survived by his children, Chelsea
Shephard and Dylan Shephard of Yucaipa, Ca. and Olyvia Shephard of Moreno
Valley, Ca. His mother Diane Shephard of Yucaipa, Ca. Father Michael Shephard
and Stepmother Sally Shephard of Riverside Ca.; Brother Kevin Shephard his
wife, Cherie Shephard and children; Sister Heather Martinell her husband, Nick
Martinell and children; Stepsister Debbie Waldron husband Bob Waldron and
children. Brian will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nephew’s, nieces,
cousins and friends. Services will be held Tuesday June 7th, 2016 and are as
follows: Viewing- 9:00am-11:00am @ Hermosa Gardens Cemetery, 900 Meridian St.
Colton Ca. 92324 The last half hour will be reserved for family and friends to
express words. The viewing will be followed by a Catholic Mass at 12:00pm at
St. Francis X Cabrini Catholic Church, 12687 California St. Yucaipa Ca. 92399
Flowers are greatly appreciated however, for those who prefer in lieu of
flowers the family has set up a fundraiser through City of Hope in memory of
