"Andy" Ceballos November 30, 1938 - June 20, 2016 Andrea
"Andy" Ceballos, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother
and great-grandmother. Andy entered into heaven on June 20, 2016. She was a
lifelong resident of Colton, CA. She is survived by her husband Rudy, sons
Michael and Randy, daughter Debbie, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Andy graduated from Colton Union High School in 1956. She then worked as a
secretary at Griffin Wheel Steel Mill in south Colton, while continuing her
education at San Bernardino Valley College of business. Andy then became
employed as a stenographer and relief dispatcher clerk, radio and teletype
operator for the state of California, Division of Highways, now referred to as
Cal-trans. Andy was an active member, and mental health chairman of the Colton
Junior Women's Club from 1970-1974. She was recognized in a letter from the
chairman of Young Women of America, Mrs. Dexter Otis Arnold as an
"exceptional young woman for her civic and professional
accomplishments". Andy appeared in the 1974 edition of OUTSTANDING YOUNG
WOMEN OF AMERICA, and was one of a select number of women in the state
nominated to participate in the Outstanding Young Women of America program and
to receive an award. Andrea was an active and involved parent in all of her children's,
as well as her grandson Randy's, education and extracurricular activities. She
was especially active in the School of Hope in San Bernardino, where her eldest
son Michael was a student. She could often be found photographing various
school events, band or Ballet Folklorico performances in which her children
were involved. Her favorite pastimes include photography, dancing, shopping and
vacations! Services for Andrea "Andy" Ceballos will be held at 9:00am
on July 1, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church, 1106 N. La Cadena Dr. Colton,
CA 92324. Interment will be at Hermosa Cemetery, located at 900 Meridian St.
Colton, CA 92324. A reception will follow 11-3:00pm at the VFW hall located at
2018 E. Foothill Blvd. San Bernardino, CA 92410

woman!!!! May she rest in peace with my grams and gramps and one day we will
