Timothy A. Moore, 50, beloved husband, father, son and brother, died
unexpectedly on Monday, July 11, 2016 in Hesperia, California. Timothy Allen
Moore was born on December 13, 1965, at Walson Army Hospital in Fort Dix, New

Nashville, Tennessee, where he graduated as salutatorian from Franklin Road
Academy in 1984. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in music with a
concentration in music history from Yale University, graduating with distinction
in 1988. He studied Hebrew at Tel Aviv University the summer between college
and beginning studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he
earned a Masters of Divinity in 1991. Dr. Moore earned his medical degree from
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock,
Texas in 1996, during which time he was a National Health Service Corps
scholar. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Yale
University School of Medicine-Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1999, and went on to
work in primary care and community medicine, where he was active in clinical
education of medical students and residents. His passion for saving lives led
him to resume training in cardiology in 2004. He completed fellowships in heart
failure and transplantation at Columbia University in 2004, and general
cardiology at Beth Israel-Long Island College Hospital in New York in 2007. He
completed fellowship in interventional cardiology at Brown University-Rhode

cardiology, he began his cardiology career at Glendale Heart Institute in 2009
and was on staff at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, California.
In 2010, he joined the medical staff at St. Mary Medical Center and Desert
Valley Hospital. He was known to his colleagues, nurses, staff and patients as
a caring, compassionate physician. He was the epitome of humanism in medicine
and was extremely dedicated to his profession and improving the lives of his
patients. Timothy was an accomplished, singer, pianist and organist. He was a
proud alumnus of the Yale Glee Club. Along with playing piano, on rare
occasions he substituted as organist at churches he attended. He loved history,
politics, and languages. He was a faithful servant of God, who served on church
leadership councils, as well as being a Sunday school teacher. He was avidly
researching his genealogy and was a proud member of numerous lineage societies.
He had a passion for the humanities, enjoyed traveling with his family on road
trips and abroad, spending time at home and making his children laugh. He was
most passionate about his faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, which he instilled
into his children. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Nancy, and two young
children, Timothy Jr. and Gretchen, of Upland, CA; mother, Joyce Moore of

Dr.
Moore, your smile and great heart knowledge will be missed. It was in March
2014 that you said I couldn't leave the hospital until more test were run. The
results of those test was a triple bi-pass. You saved my life. I can now
continue to travel and see God's beautiful country with my wife. Our prayers
are with the family. God be with you all Larry and Lorna Emmons

Dr.Moore
was a great Doctor and friend, if you ever had a question about anything Dr.
Moore would find the answer. I remember him telling me about his trip with the
family to see plymouth rock he was so excited to show me the pictures of the
kids next to the rock. Him and I had lots of conversation, about the children
and how the house was coming along, and the different lemons he had that he
would bring into the dept of cardio/neuro and share with us. He will be deeply
missed, he will always hold a special place in my heart as he was a wonderful
Dr. and a great friend. nicola chin

Dr.
Moore was the cardiologist that always made the staff feel like he was one of
us! Dr. Moore spoke about his children and of course Nancy. We had the
privilege of meeting them when they came to the hospital to visit and at our
Cardio Neuro Christmas Party! Dr. Moore would share his passion in the work he
was doing with genealogy and learning more about his families history. Dr.
Moore would bring lemons from the trees in the property so when of our staff
could make us lemons cookies! Dr. Moore will be truly missed and he has gone
too soon! Prayers to Nancy, the children, and all of the family!
