Raymond Edward Cawrse

September 16, 1927 - July 13, 2016

Ray was born September 16th, 1927 in Huntington Beach, California. Ray was the second of three children born to Albert and Vera Cawrse. His parents and brother, Dick preceded him in death. His sister, Janelle lives in Wylie, Texas. Ray served in the Navy during World War II and spent his long career working in the grocery business and retired after having worked for Laura Scudder’s for 33 years. Ray and his wife retired to the Hemet area where he spent many wonderful years as a member of the Seven Hills Men’s Club and The Bandits. Ray is survived by his wife of 66 years, JoAnne. His three children; Ken, Karen and her husband Ron, Kathy and her husband Rich. Ray has five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ray died on July 13, 2016 of natural causes. Ray will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of golf and the love he had for his wife, family, and friends. A private graveside service was held at Riverside National Cemetery.
