Emma Jean Reed
August 13, 1962 - October 24, 2016
Emma
Jean Reed was born on August 13, 1962, in Altheimer, Arkansas to the parents of
Robert and Ora Lee Reed. She was the youngest of seven children born to
this union. She attended grade school in Saginaw, Michigan and graduated high
school in Los Angeles, California.
Emma
was funny and loved making others laugh. She loved listening to music and one
of her favorite songs was "Patiently Waiting". At the age of
ten Emma received the Holy Ghost. In her early teen years she was an usher in
the church and worked in the child care center where she was a member of First
Apostolic of Inglewood under the leadership of the late Bishop Wayne S. Davis.
In
1993, Emma moved to the Inland Empire area. Emma was a loving devoted mother,
sister, aunt and friend. She later became a member of Grace Fellowship
Ministries in Moreno valley, California under the leadership of Bishop James
Belle.
Preceding
her in death were her parents Robert Reed and Ora Lee Walker. She leaves to
cherish her memory a daughter: Candace Jean Hazel; 2 sisters: Lee Freeman (
Robert ), Linda Price; 4 brothers: Robert Reed ( Betty ), Billy Reed ( Annette
), Carl Reed, and Leroy Reed. She also leaves a number of nieces, nephews,
cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
