Joseph Anthony Largo
August
8, 1974 – January 16, 2017
Joseph
Anthony Largo was born on August 8th, 1974 to parents Donna Mae and
Anthony Largo in Hemet, CA where he was raised with his brothers John Morris
and David Largo. He was a passionate man
about the things he cared about most; his music, his work, and his family.
At
an early age Joseph’s love for music was ignited by his Uncle Curt whom taught him
to play the guitar. Joseph carried his
talent throughout his life, often playing his guitar in his leisure and for his
family.
Joseph
was also very passionate about the work he did within his community. He dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged
and underprivileged youth. Joseph
mentored and counseled dozens of children inside and outside of the Native
American Community.
Joseph
leaves behind his greatest passion of all, his family. He is survived by his wife Candi Vega and
children Dez and Faith Vega. He loved
and was loved by them deeply and will be missed dearly.
He
passed away peacefully in his sleep on the evening of Monday, January 16th,
2017. The family would like to invite
Joseph’s friends and loved ones to pay their final respects. Graveside services for Joseph will be held at
the Tribal Cemetery on the Santa Rosa Indian Reservation on Saturday January 28th,
2017 at 10 am. Lunch will follow at the
Santa Rosa Tribal Hall.
