Rex Clayton Garrett

October 1, 1951 - February 18, 2017

Rex Clayton Garrett, age 65, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones February 18, 2017, in West Covina, California.
He was born October 1, 1951 in Dothan, Alabama. To Charlie Samson Garrett and Marian R'Ola Chase Garrett.

He had a heart of gold and was always cracking a joke to make you laugh and smile. Especially when you were feeling down. He would give you the biggest bear hugs to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He will be missed here but now he is with his parents and siblings cracking those jokes to make them laugh and smile. There will never be a dull moment whether here or there with "Sexy Rexy".

He is survived by Denise Sesco, his life partner of 22 years, who he loved and adored. His brother, Fred Garrett. His three children, Syrie Sage, Mickey Mills and Brooke Garrett. His many grandchildren, great grandchildren and tons of cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is welcomed with open arms in the eternal life by his parents, Charlie Samson Garrett and Marian R'Ola Chase Garrett. His brothers, Brad Garrett, Kenneth Garrett and Charlie "Judge" Garrett. His sisters Fay Garnes, Irma Harrison, Mary Clark and Hazel Oefinger. They are now together headed to the fishing hole, to go catch the "big one". Here fishy, fishy, fishy...

There will be a celebration of his life in Salt Lake City, Utah. Date, time and location to be announced.
