Louis J. Serafin
January 2, 1950 - November 18, 2017
Great Grandpas don’t go gray, they turn chrome. As did Louis J.
Serafin, who left our world November 18, 2017, at the age of 67. Lou was a
beloved and proud father and grandfather. He loved Harley motorcycles, golf,
iced tea, crossword puzzles, Budweiser, frozen yogurt, libraries, and his
family. Not necessarily in that order. He hated mayonnaise and rules. Not
necessarily in that order. He was always quick with a random fact of knowledge
that he gained somewhere, always had a book in hand in case there was an extra
moment to get some reading in, and always had an extra napkin in his pocket if
you needed it. He traveled the country, and the world, and lived his 67 years
to the fullest. He was a happy-go-lucky man who will be deeply missed by many. Loved
ones that will miss Lou until they meet again are his daughter and son in-law
Jessica Ortiz and Oliver Ortiz; his son and daughter in-law Adam Serafin and
Erin Serafin; his grandchildren, Maizie Ortiz, Zoey Serafin, and Emmie Ortiz;
and his ex wife, and loving friend, Patti Fourace Serafin.
