Richard Stanley McCarty

Richard (Rick) Stanley McCarty, 72, of Murrieta, CA, passed away on January 18, 2018. He was born on January 29, 1945, in Long Beach, CA, to the late Florence (Cummings) and Lewis (Joe) McCarty. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, then worked on oil rigs before apprenticing as a tool and die maker and working in the tool and die field for 40 years. His main joy in life was spending time with his loving wife, Rebecca. He also enjoyed painting and riding his bike. He is survived by his wife Rebecca (Mitchell) McCarty, his children Tammy (John) Brenner, Connie (Dale) Gretel, Kelly Gibbs, Mike (Jodee) McCarty, seven grandchildren, his sister Cathy (John) Traller, and his brother Walt (Loretta) McCarty. Memorials may be made to a Parkinson’s Foundation or charity of your choice.
