Marion Jean Crull passed away in Hemet, California from
ovarian cancer on Saturday, May 17th at her home, surrounded by
family. She was born in California on
June 6, 1928. She married her husband, Bob, 68 years ago.Together, they had
adventures all over the world, living in Saudi Arabia for nine years; living on
Palau, an isolated island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean; running a ski
resort hotel in Brianhead, Utah; and managing apartments in Livermore. They associated with actors and musicians in
Las Vegas and Hollywood through their friendship with Fred-Mickey Finn, the
owner of a nightclub in San Diego.Although she held various jobs throughout her
life, she always believed her most important work in life was taking care of
her family – her husband, daughter and two sons. Their photos adorn the walls of her
home. Marion was a Christian who was
passionate in her love of the Lord Jesus. She handled the last months of her life with
remarkable dignity, assured with the knowledge she would soon be with the
Lord. She is survived by the love of her
life – her husband Bob; her daughter Syndi Carlson; sons Bob Crull and Ken
Crull, grandchildren David Parrott, Summer Lansing, Kenn Crull, Lacey
DePhilippis, and Kristine Poyner; her eleven great grandkids, and two great,
great grandkids. She was predeceased by
her brother, Reagan Oberdorf.
