Gerald “Butch” Le Roy Isaacson

February 26, 1942 - May 16, 2018

Butch passed away on the evening of May 16th, 2018 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife, Connie; his daughter, Gina and her husband, Tom; his daughter, Lisa; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Alexa, and Thomas. He was a great husband, father, and grandpa.

Early in his life, Butch worked for North American Aviation and was recognized for his contributions to the Apollo Program. He later became a carpenter and landscaper.

Butch loved classic cars, drag racing, and NASCAR. One of his prized possessions was his 1937 Ford, which he cruised around and took to many car shows. Some of his favorite pastimes included racing motorcycles, going to Glamis, taking his boat to the river, and kicking back in his garage with his friends. He also enjoyed landscaping, carpentry, sports and camping.

Butch loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and was always ready for a good time. He was very loved by everyone around him and will be missed dearly and remembered fondly for the countless great memories shared with his family and many close friends.

You are forever in our hearts. We love you.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Butch’s life at a future date.
