Mary Elizabeth Wilson

March 25, 1940 - September 8, 2018

Born Mary Elizabeth Brisco to Nolan L Brisco and Nancy E. (Barton)
Brisco in Roswell, NM. She was part of a loving family with siblings
Coy, Barbara (Chadwick), Sue (Rand), and Ruth (Cuccia). During the
Great Depression, her family moved to Los Angeles County, CA where her
father worked at North American Aviation (purchased by Rockwell
International), where her dad was selling equipment no longer needed
by the company. She married Jerry Roberts in 1957 and had 4 children,
Ken, Kathy, Ron, and John. After her divorce from Jerry, she enjoyed playing piano, especially in church, being the church secretary in Bellflower, travelling and visiting family and friends before she
married Paul F. Wilson in 1986. After Paul died in 1991, she loved visiting family (especially her grandchildren) and even lived with some family helping them in Salt Lake City, UT and Long Beach, CA until she started a position as a live-in companion for Jane (Russell) Peoples. After Jane died in 2011, she split her time between El Monte, CA where she stayed with her daughter-in-law’s mother, Lorene Freer, and her son Ken’s house in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. She died peacefully at home in Rancho Cucamonga Sept 8th, 2018. She loved her Lord and her family above all else. She loved hearing stories and seeing the grand kids grow and if you sat near her for more than 5 minutes you were sure to hear a story about one of them. She was a member of Eleventh Street Baptist Church and attended when she was able.

She is survived by siblings Barbara Chadwick and Sue Rand, and her children Ken, Ron, and John, and grandchildren Jason, Andrew, Eric, Erica, Damien, Benjamin, Kimberly, Matthew, Michael, Nathan, Tamara, Hailey, and Lucy, many great grandkids and nieces and nephews. She will be greatly
missed.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at 11am at Eleventh Street Baptist Church 990 W 11th Street Upland, CA 91786.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Memorial Fund in her honor at Eleventh Street Baptist Church.
