Charlene Virginia Reid

June 22, 1941 - December 19, 2018

Charlene Reid passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 19, 2018.  Born on June 22, 1941, Charlene grew up in the Los Angeles area and graduated from Baldwin Park High School in 1959.  She married the love of her life, Allan R. Reid, on January 19, 1963 and they established their happy home in Ontario, CA in 1966, where she lived until her passing.

Throughout her life she was completely dedicated to her loving family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Charlene will be remembered for her wonderful kindness and generosity.  She had an open heart and always gave to those in need including many local charities.  She was one sharp card player, excellent cook, attentive listener, and an avid reader.  She enjoyed yoga, gardening, get-togethers with her great group of friends, and of course spending time with her family.  She greatly enjoyed spending time at her Running Springs cabin with family and friends and always had her dogs, Max and Angel, at her side.

Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Allan; her father, mother, brother, and sister. 

She is survived by her daughters Lauren (Jim) Wilson of Vail, AZ, and Jennifer (Jerry) Grabowski of San Bernardino, CA, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life will take place at The Magic Lamp in Rancho Cucamonga on January 19, 2019 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.   Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family at www.inlandmemorial.com.
