Cynthia Macias Castro

June 14, 1949 – January 8, 2019

Cynthia went home to be with the Lord on January 8th after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She peacefully passed with her family by her side at her home in Rialto. She married James Castro in 1968 and began building and raising their family for the next 50 years until she passed.  She devoted her time raising five children and helping to raise and spoil her grandchildren. Cynthia is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Castro, daughter Sandra Estrada (Mike), son James “Gus” Castro (Denise), daughter Esther Luera (Randy), son Charles Castro (Janice), son Dennis Castro (Joanna), and 11 grandchildren. She leaves behind her loving siblings Arthur Cordero (Joann), Linda Rodriquez (Jim), Rosemary Flores (John), Richard “Dickie” Macias (Virgie), Rudy Macias (Karen), Elizabeth Morales (Mike), along with a host of extended family including Macias, DeLaRosa, Cordova, Calderon, and Castro families. She is preceded in death by her parents Adolfo “Chico” Macias and Esther DeLaRosa Macias.
