Dung Minh Duy Nguyen
April 15, 1967 - February 10, 2019
NGUYỄN DUY MINH DŨNG, born April 15, 1967 in Sai Gon,
Vietnam; passed away February 10, 2019 in Montclair, California.
He grew up in the seaside town of Vung Tau, Vietnam. A
whiz kid in math and the natural sciences, he won Honorable Mention in the 12th Grade
Vietnamese National Physics Competition. He received a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Sai Gon Polytechnic
University.
He immigrated to the United States in 1991 with
family. He worked hard and persevered despite multiple setbacks in
life. He had a continual thirst for knowledge and always strove for
perfection.
DŨNG is survived by his wife, Lien, and his son
Austin. He is also survived by his parents, four sisters and one brother,
nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held in Buddhist tradition, at
Hermosa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 900 Meridian Street; Colton, CA 92324 on
March 12, 2019. Open for visitation to Family and Friends between 10 am
to 1pm.
