LeRoy Browning was born in Houston, Texas to T.W. and Sammie
Browning. He was baptized at an early age at St. John Baptist Church. He
attended J. W. Hones elementary and Jack Yates High School. He moved to
California in the 80’s. He worked as a landscaper, a welder, printer, and car
mechanic. LeRoy was always hustling. You would always see him in his truck
bright and early in the morning. LeRoy had a remarkable commitment of being the
best in everything he did. He loved to sing, dance and party with his family.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, T.W. and Sammie
Lee, three brothers, Thomas Westley, John Luther, and Sam; four sisters, Emma,
Betty Ann, Arizona and Patricia.
LeRoy leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Shirley,
three brothers, Douglas, Bryant, and Elroy; two sisters in law, Lilian and
Audrey Halcromb; two brothers in law, Charles and Willie; Stepmother Rose
Browning, and a Host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and Friends.
