Eva Rivera, 78, passed away on August 25, 2019 at her home
in Colton, CA.
She joins her Husband, Cruz Rivera; and Daughter, Rachel
Rivera in eternal life.
Eva was loving, kind, humble, witty and selfless. She was an
amazing self-taught cook that worked in the food industry for 25 years, she was
a care-taker, wife, mother and grandmother and exceled at everything she did.
Although tiny, she was an extremely independent, brave, strong and determined
woman. She enjoyed hosting family parties, watching Hallmark, westerns and old
movies; she loved her ice-cold Pepsi’s, chips and See’s Candies. She was
thoughtful and always put others first. She was not a boastful woman but she
was very proud of her family. She was spunky, funny, beautiful and her soul was
pure.
Our hearts ache daily and we miss her dearly. We will
cherish her stories, cling to our memories and hold onto the wisdom she shone
on us. I will love you forever and always be thankful that I had such a strong
woman in my life.
Eva is survived by her Daughter, Yolanda Rivera Hernandez;
Granddaughter, Maria Aldaco; And Grandson, David Hernandez.
