Philip Anthony Palermo

September 18, 1947 - October 11, 2019

Philip Anthony Palermo, 72, returned to his heavenly home on October 11, 2019 after suffering a heart attack.  Phil was born to the late Joseph Palermo and Josephine Benton on September 18, 1947.

Phil held an Administrative Credential, UC Irvine; Elementary and Secondary Teaching Credentials, CSU Dominquez Hills; Licensed attorney in California, Nevada and Pennsylvania; J.D. California Western School of Law ABA/AALS; M.S. Counseling, UNLV; B.A., Penn State; Judge Pro Tem Orange County Superior Courts.

Phil was an educator at heart.  At the time of his passing, he was teaching language arts at Santiago High School, Corona, CA since 2003.  He always made time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small for any of his students, staff or family member.  He is dearly missed by his loved ones.

Phil is survived by his wife, Frances; niece Laura Falat and nephew Benton Palermo.  He is preceded in death by his sister Virginia Fortunato, brother Joseph Palermo and his parents.

A Mass will be celebrated for Phil on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2140 W. Ontario Ave., Corona, CA 92882, with a reception to follow
