Allen Lingenfelter

May 14, 1951 - November 22, 2019

Allen was born on May 14, 1951 in Monterey Park, Ca to Alfred and Marian, the second of three children.  He was raised in a small home in Monterey Park, Ca where they later moved to La Harbra, Ca.  Allen attended Olita Elementary, Rancho Canada Junior High School and graduated from Lowell High School in 1969.
He helped his father with the newspaper route while in high school.  Allen went on to work for Alpha Beta, he had his own car detailing company Classic Auto Detailing, and he delivered cars as his last occupation before retirement.  Allen always had a passion for cars.  He also loved to be around his grandchildren and watch them play baseball, a passion they all shared.  He was known to many at Ontario Mountain View Little League as “grandpa” where he supported and spoiled many.  He was also known for his quick wit, and his kind and compassionate spirit.  Even in his most difficult of times he was always in high spirits and his concern was always his daughters and grandchildren until the very end.
On November 22, 2019 Allen let us know his fight was over and departed life at Sleepy Hollow Elderly Care Home, in Riverside, Ca.  Allen was preceded in death by his father Alfred, his mother Marian, and his granddaughter Khloe.  He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Keri and Amber, his grandchildren Connor, Alanah, Ayden, Samantha, Amayah and Zoey,  his brother Robert and sister Susan as well as cousins, nephews, a niece and friends.

SOY LIBRE

Eldon Reeves

December 25, 1933 - November 11, 2019

Eldon L. Reeves, 85, died on Monday, November 11, 2019 in hospice care at Sunrise Senior Living in Riverside, CA.
He leaves behind two daughters: Anita Reeves Shively (Patrick) of Clayton, NC and Holly Reeves Johnson of Riverside, CA, as well as, five grandchildren: Logan (Kristina), Laura, and Sarah Shively and Emma and Claire Johnson.
Eldon was born in Dodge City, KS on December 25, 1933, where he lived among the wheat fields during the Dust Bowl era. Later, he and his family moved to Colorado, where he graduated from Lamar Union High School (1953) and proceeded to Colorado State University, where he earned and B.S. (1957) and M.S (1959) in Entomology. Eldon served in the United States Air Force (1959-1962), during which time he was stationed in Casa Blanca, Morocco, as a medical entomologist, and later earned the rank of Captain.  Eldon continued his education at Ohio State University, where he earned a PhD in Entomology (1966) and married Carol McKechnie (1965).
Eldon was a good and loving father, making sure his children had all that they needed. He taught them faithfully all that he knew and inspired them to grow in their education and to pursue the things that were important to them.
His career and his devotion to science took him to the University of California: Riverside, Department of Entomology, Division of Biological Control (1965 – 1972) and later to the Riverside County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office (1972 – 1996). He was committed to do all that he could for those in the agricultural community. Eldon traveled to Mongolia, as a representative of the Department of the Treasury, to share what he knew about the use of biological control to limit pests for farmers and to safely increase the production of food.
Eldon was a photographer. He loved to capture the beauty of nature and the curiosities of people in his work. For many years, he was both a student and teacher of photography, always trying to improve his craft. His work included landscapes from ghost towns to national parks, close-ups of flowers, insects, and birds, and shots of people in their element.
Eldon was blessed to be cared for in his later years by his faithful daughter, Holly, and the staff at Sunrise Senior Living. The family is grateful!
A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery on December 23, 2019.

RONALD E. CADLE
January 3, 1949 – November 5, 2019

Ron passed away at the age of 70 on Tuesday evening, November 5, 2019 at 9:00 pm at home in
Temecula Valley, California with his family at his side.
Ron was a fighter. Diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) April 3, 2011, and after a long 8 year
battle, Ron died just like he lived. He put up one heck of a fight, never surrendered and to the end he
paved his own way. If someone said he couldn’t do something - guess again - he made sure he did!!
Ron lived 1000 years in the 70 calendar years we were all honored to share, in one way or another, in his
life’s journey. Oh how Ron loved people and he never met a stranger! He truly loved his family and
friends.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Janice; his children Adrienne (son-in-law
Brandon) and Jason (daughter in law Malia) and his three amazing, beautiful grandchildren Gavin, Colten
and Raya.
In memory of Ron, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, 11:00 am at Simi
Community Church, 2000 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley, California 93065.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ron’s memory to the Lewy Body Dementia
Association. www.lbdg.org
