Shirley Ann Lightfoot

Shirley Ann Lightfoot  

of Garden Grove California passed away in Upland with her granddaughter Michelle by her side Thursday  February 6, 2020 at the age of 88.

 Shirley was born October 2, 1931 in Des Moines Iowa to Harry James and Helen Viola Rowland.

 She graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1949.-in Des Moines Iowa.

She moved to Sunny California in 1960 with her husband and 3 children- Susan "Sue", Cynthia "Candy" and Conrad "Sonny" where she resided at the same residence for the past 60 years.

Shirley was very involved in the community and enjoyed helping others.

She was active in her sorority Beta Sigma Phi and the Moose Lodge #620

She was also recognized for her contributions to numerous charities such as The Ronald McDonald foundation,  The Cancer center, Easter Seals, Paralyzed and  Hospitalized veterans, Among others.

 Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Robert Wayne Lightfoot and her brother William Leo Rowland.

 Her legacy lives on as she is survived by 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 3 great nephews and 1 niece in-law.

 Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church 12761 South Euclid street Garden Grove CA 92840 on March 14th 2020 at 3:00 p.m

 Pastor Larry and Carole Barber of Church of Grace will be officiating services.

Interment will be at:
