March 27, 1927 - April 13, 2020
Virginia Thompson Iversen was born March 27, 1927 and died
in her sleep at home on April 13, 2020. Virginia was born in Duluth MN to
Victor and Alice Thompson (Morgan). She lived in the Midwest for 70 years but
always pined for warm weather and sunshine. When Virginia turned 70 she was
able to move to sunny California to be near her mother (who lived to 102 years
old) and her adored brother, Vic (age 90 and still kickin’). The past 23 years
have been some of the happiest of Virginia’s life. She always had a smile on
her face and a positive outlook on life right up to the day she died.
She lived a simple life at her home in Hemet which she loved. She was lovingly taken care of by her caregivers Ingrid and Brina which allowed her to be at home until her last breath.
Virginia is survived by her brother, Victor; her nieces Cindy and Vicky who took very good care of their aunt in her final years; her children Ginger, Tom, Morgan, Mary and Mark; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Virginia left this world on her own terms in her own way. Cheers to you Virginia.
