Born Nora Lou Mathews, May 22, 1933 in Putnam County, Missouri. She passed away on April 3, 2020. She had 9 brothers and sisters, 6 preceded her in death, along with her parents Ralph and Margaret Mathews and left to carry on were June Lord, Jo Gregory, and Keith Mathews. She married Edward F. Reed (Deceased), May 7, 1955. They adopted two children Mathew Reed (Deceased), Stacy Long, and had a natural born child, Patrick Todd. Lou worked at the Pentagon after graduating high school. Then moved back to Kansas City. Her and Ed moved to California where they lived in the San Fernando Valley, Hemet, Vista, Murrieta, and back to Hemet. She has five grandchildren Rachel Reed, Melissa Bath, Kyle Long, Chase Reed, and Lily Reed. There are three great grandsons Parker (Melissa’s son), Isaac (Kyle’s son), and Judah (Rachel’s son). Lou loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all her heart, as well as many nieces and nephews, and many friends who she would do anything for and they all loved her as well.
