Daniel Cosmas Sidabutar

August 18, 1985 - May 9, 2020

Daniel Cosmas Sidabutar was born in August 18, 1985 in Surabaya, Indonesia to Kasmin

Sidabutar and Roslina Siagian. He grew up with two older brothers and helped raise two

younger brothers and two younger sisters. He started a higher education in computer science in

Indonesia until moving to the United States in 2007 at the age of 21. In 2009, Daniel enlisted in

the United States Army and served 11 years in the Army Reserve as Specialist. In 2013, he

completed a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology. He was a humble servant of God

throughout his life and was a talented musician, as a guitarist, pianist, and singer, always

singing praises until he no longer can. Devoted and compassionate, he was a follower of Christ

and a leader in the family and the church, serving as the Worship Leader and Secretary in the

Indonesian Colton Community Fellowship. After three faithful years of battling cancer, Daniel

finally rested to come home to the Lord, joining his father, on Saturday morning, May 9, 2020.
