Arturo Roman Lopez

August 30,1935 - December 19, 2020

 

Arturo Roman Lopez, 85, went peacefully to be with God on December 19, 2020, after a month’s struggle with COVID. He was born in Delicias, Chihuahua on August 30, 1935. He was one of nine children. Arturo married his beautiful wife, Rosario Lopez of 53 years on April 21, 1967. They lived in Colton Ca. and from there they moved to Rialto, Ca. in 1976. Together they had three daughters, Juana Lopez (deceased), Ana Maria Lopez (Kelley Lopez), Angelina Roman Romero (Richard Romero), three granddaughters, and four grandsons.

 

Arturo is survived by his wife Rosario, daughters Ana Lopez and Angelina Romero, his brother Hector Lopez, his sister Socorro Lopez Velez, his grandsons Desmond, Leon, CJ, and Isaac, his granddaughters Lexie, Arica, and Brooke, and many Nieces and Nephews. Arturo is preceded in death by his mother Genoveva Lopez, father Leandro Lopez, daughter Juana Lopez, brothers, Efren Lopez, Angel Lopez, and Jose Lopez, sisters Frances Lopez, Margarita Meza, and Eva Lopez.

 

Arturo was a man of deep faith who had an enormous amount of love for his family and was an extremely hard worker. He loved sports; especially racquetball and tennis, music, dancing, and singing. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend and will always be remembered as a hard worker who gave it everything he had and as a fun-loving soul with a great loud joyful laugh who lived life to the fullest and blessed our lives with love and happiness. He will be dearly missed by all.

 

Service will take place at Mission Chapel at Hermosa Cemetery in Colton, Ca. on January 28, 2021 at 9:00 AM. Followed by a Graveside service and interment at Hermosa Cemetery 900 N. Meridian Ave. Colton Ca. at 11:00 AM.
