Our family sadly lost a cherished member on December 28th, 2020 when John Acevedo Arellano passed away from complications due to COVID-19.

John was born October 20, 1962 in the verdant town of Zitácuaro, Mexico to Inocencia Sanchez and Porfirio Arellano. John grew up on the ranch of his grandparents. Wanting a better life for her son, Inocencia immigrated to the US and worked hard as a housekeeper to bring John over. His grandparents and mother instilled in him the pride of hard work and providing for family.

John saw the beauty in the world and his passion for incorporating beauty into surroundings by his own hands led him to starting his own painting business, Arellano Quality Painting. In addition to painting, over the years John learned welding, landscaping, and carpentry to add to his services.

John truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: riding his beloved motorcycle on the open highway, chatting with friends and family, and creating the ultimate outdoor hangout.  He loved adventure; those who knew him would be exasperated but impressed of the awesome tales he told.
