Layne Garfield
Christian passed peacefully in his home on December 6, 2020, surrounded by
loving family. Layne was born on July 2, 1952 to Leonard & Virginia
Christian. He was happily married to his wife Candace for 27 years.
Layne is predeceased
by his Parents Leonard & Virginia Christian; Sister Sherie Rohlfing;
Brothers Lee Christian and Christopher Christian and Grandson Austin Christian.
Layne is survived by
his wife Candace; Son Damien (Gina) Christian; Daughters Crystal (Ryan)
Pennebaker, April (Rick) Gatlin, Amber (Mike) McCreary and Amie
(Robert) Zamora; Sisters Pam (Bob) Donelson and Denise Morgan; 15
Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Layne prided himself
in his work as a construction painter for many years. Layne had a special
talent of paying $1.95 for anything he’d ever purchased. In his spare time,
Layne enjoyed fishing, carpentry work, and working on his 1948
Buick.
