Richard Ray Romero

April 27,1973 - December 26, 2020

 

 

Richard Ray Romero, 47, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 26, 2020. Richard was born in

Albuquerque, New Mexico April 27, 1973; he was one of five children. Richard married his beautiful

wife, Angelina Lopez May 27, 2014. They lived in Victorville, Ca. and together had two daughters Arica

and Lexie, and two sons CJ and Isaac.

Richard is survived by his wife Angelina, daughters Arica Romero and Lexie Trujillo, and his sons CJ

Trujillo and Isaac Trujillo. His brothers Julian Romero III and Sean Gonzales Files, his sisters Annie

Hernandez, Irma Yolanda Romero, and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. Richard is preceded

in death by his mother Laura Alvita Gonzales, father Julian Romero Jr.

Richard was a man of deep faith with a big heart who had an enormous amount of love for his family

and fellow man. He loved and appreciated life and lived it to the fullest with a zest for adventure and an

eye for making everyday items a treasure to be cherished. He had a beautiful smile with an infectious

and joyous laugh and would often be found feeding the homeless who knew the regulars by name and

made it a point to always have something for them. Richard also had a culinary flare and would

participate in Chili cook-offs and festivals and fairs; using nothing other than his New Mexico Chilies. He

was an amazing husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend who will always be remembered for his

kindhearted spirit who gave all of himself to everyone he encountered. He was the life of the party and

tried his best to do for others and blessed our lives with love and joy. He will be dearly missed by

everyone who knew him.

 

Service will take place at Mission Chapel at Hermosa Cemetery in Colton, Ca. on February 03, 2021 at

9:00 AM.
