John Marshall Farned, of Rancho Cucamonga passed away on
January 3rd, 2021 at home in the care of his loving wife of 23 years, Miriam.
John was born in Rupert, Idaho, January 21, 1944 to mother
Elaine Emma Farned and father John Russell Farned. Early on John was raised by
his mother and grandmother until his father USMC John Russell came home after
the war late in 1945. Seeing his son for the first time.
John graduated from Chaffey High School, Ontario, California
and Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
John entered the United States Navy during the Vietnam War
serving solely aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga CVA-60.
John served with distinction and honorably discharged in
1968.
Working in the aviation industry for 45 years ending with
his retirement with Southwest Airlines in 2016.
John leaves behind his wife Miriam, siblings Robert Steven
Farned of Redding, California, Charles Douglas Farned of Colorado Springs,
Colorado, and Sister-in-Law, Darlyn Farned of Redding, California.
Preceded in death was his Mother and Father in 2008.
A member of Abundant Living Family Church, John, a quiet and
loving soul, will be missed by his family, many friends and loved ones. He is
now in the hands of God, with his Mother, Father, and departed friends for
eternity. May he Rest In Peace. We all love and miss you John and one day be
together again.
