Thomas Daniel Oldefendt
March 14, 1959 - January 8, 2021
Thomas Daniel
Oldefendt, 69, known to many as Tommy or Tom, was born in Owatonna, Minnesota
passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, in Orange County, California, after a
long battle with multiple health issues and ultimately acute renal failure
taking his life.
He grew up in a
military household which brought him to many ends of the world as a child. As a
young man, he ventured in numerous professions, looking for his calling in life
(which he ultimately found.)
As an adult he lived
life to the fullest. He had a long career in the real estate/financial
industries that introduced him to many people throughout the years, creating
endless relationships along the way. He loved sharing his knowledge and
expertise with all those around him.
Over the years he
enjoyed many things; time with his family, golfing with friends,
sunbathing (or as Travis would say, sun burning), sharing stories, camping, and
most definitely Taco Tuesday's (one of his favorites).
Tom was someone that
could light up a room with his laugh, smile and endless energy. He readily made
friends and truly loved life. Tom was such a gregarious and outgoing human that
we all wish came so easily. Tom would want to say Thank You to each of you for
being part of his journey in life.
In his last few years
his grandpups lit up his life. He couldn't wait to give them never-ending
treats.
He is survived by his
daughter Tiffany Jenkins and her husband Tracy and their two Bernedoodles Maui
and Moana and his son Travis Oldefendt with his French Bulldog, Radar; along
with his brothers, John Oldefendt and Karl Oldefendt and their families.
