Barbara Levy

July 23, 1935 - February 3, 2021

Born in Chicago on July 23, 1935, Barbara passed away peacefully on Feb 3, 2021 in Riverside, CA.

Preceded in death by her loving husband and son, Paul and Richard, respectively and daughter-in-law Sue.

Survived by her loving sons, Adam (wife, Debra; grandsons, Jonah and Ben), Matthew and loving daughter, Laura Channer (husband Kevin; grandkids Remy and Amara) as well by her loving sister, Sandi Kwesell (Husband David; nephews Michael & Richard, nieces Rana and Alli).

 

Barbara left an indelible mark on this world, leaving it a much better place for her being in it.

She was an awesome mom, spouse, parent and friend. As a social worker within Riverside County for decades, she was known professionally as Big Bad Barb! NO one within, or ever associated with, the Riverside County social services Team would ever get between Barbara and the welfare of her clients – she fought for what was right and, more often than not, won the day.

She was the parent and friend of which we all dream– solid, loving, strong, tender and a person in which we were all honored and privileged to have in our lives
