Sharon Pesonen
August 8, 1964 - March 19, 2021
The Memorial service for Sharon Ann Pesonen will be located at St. Johns Episocpal Church in Rancho Santa Margarita at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The service will be officiated by Reverand Karen D. Maurer. At that time, friends and family can gather to remember her beautiful spirit. After the service, we will have a celebration of her life at a specified location where we can spend time together and share unforgetable memories of the times we had with her.
Sharon was born on August 8, 1964 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Ronald and Louise Hoffman. At age 19, she moved Naperville, Illinois where she spent 17 years serving the community as a preschool teacher and chef. Sharon also worked at the children’s museum where she created exhibits to teach children about science and how they could see the world utilizing their senses. Sharon was extremely creative, loved meeting new people, and had a soft spot for anyone who needed help. She loved cooking, baking (basically anything involving food), arts and crafts, making mosaics, gardening, and being a great hostess for any event.
Above all else she loved being a Mother and Grandmother. Sharon passed away at home in Temecula, CA on March 19, 2021. She is survived by her two beloved sons, Ryan (Tiffany) and Evan Pesonen, and grandson, Naux Pesonen. She will forever be remembered and our love and memories of her will never fade. To keep the memory of Sharon going we decided to create a memory garden at Ryan’s home that she helped design and create. We would love to add more of her favorite flowers, trees, or bushes in her honor, so if you would like to add to the garden please bring them to the memorial service. If you are unable to attend her service, the plants can be sent to 27414 Senna Court, Temecula, CA 92591.
