John Nelson Jacobus "Jack",68

of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, passed away on July 6, 2021.

Jack was born on February 7, 1953 to Homer and Jean Jacobus in Long Beach, CA. The middle son of three boys. Jack grew up alongside his brothers Ron and Scott and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in ‘71. He attended Long Beach City College and began working for OCTA where he would retire in 2012 after a successful accident-free career working for 38 years . Any one who met Jack knew how warm, kind, genuine, and full of life he was and how he radiated pure happiness.

He was married to his soulmate Paula for 19 years and they raised their sons Jarrod and Damien and were proud grandparents to Oliver and Quinn. He loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, traveling, and was a “jack” of all trades. His caring spirit continues to be loved and missed by many.

Jack is survived by his wife Paula, sons Jarrod and Damien, grandchildren Oliver and Quinn,and brothers Scott and Ron. His life will be celebrated on August 7 at the home of the Leon family from 4-7pm at 15567 Live Oak Rd.
