Clark Varner
12/1/1951 - 8/3/2021
Clark Varner, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 3 rd , 2021 in Fontana, CA. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle, and friend, who was always the life of the party. He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in 1969 and worked for Sav-A-Minit Markets for 45 years before retiring in 2015. Clark really loved sports but was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Clark and his son, Michael, lived for annual trips to sporting events where they really enjoyed tailgating and watching the game. Clark and his daughter, Jamie, had a love for live music, and they attended many concerts together (front row of course), while always on the hunt for the greatest bloody mary of all time. He raised his son Randy, who he loved as his own, and they shared many memories and family vacations together, before Randy moved his family to North Dakota about ten years ago. He was born December 1 st , 1951, and was raised in Pennsylvania before moving to San Bernardino, California with his father and
siblings Charlene and Duane Varner. Working at Sav-A-Minit as a manager, he met the love of his life,Judy, who would become his wife of 45 years. Employees of Sav-A-Minit became family since he worked there his entire life. Clark loved travelling and going on vacations with his family. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, Newport Beach, Pismo Beach, Hawaii, camping in Lytle Creek, and anywhere his family went, he was happy to be there. His favorite restaurant was Taco Joes, which easily became a family staple in the Varner household. He is survived by his wife Judy Varner (69), who he loved unconditionally until his last
breath. They were married January 24 th , 1976, in a little chapel in Las Vegas. The two were inseparable and always enjoyed the family they created. He leaves behind his children Randy Wyatt (50), Jamie Varner-O’Connell (43) and Michael Varner (40). He loved all his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by Mikayla Marquiss Varner (21), Jessica Bossaert (15), Joshua O’Connell (11), Franky Wyatt (17), Rikky Wyatt (16), Charly Wyatt (16), Kassidy Wyatt (24), Breauna Varner (13), Brody Varner (7), and Braxtynn
Varner (6). He is also survived by his older brother Duane Varner Sr. He will be remembered for his bleached blonde beach hair, “anything goes” attitude, loving heart, amazing sense of humor, dedicated work ethic, and would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need. In his later years, COPD took a toll on his body physically, but that never took away the heart and love he had for his family. Memorial services will be held at 3:30pm on September 3 rd at Inland Memorial Hermosa Gardens in Colton, CA. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful support and love given after his passing.
Clark loved you all.
