Patricia Ann Ellis

Born June 6, 1952 - June 13, 2021 

On May 20th, 2021 our mother, Patricia Ellis was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The cancer was spreading and extremely aggressive. She hardly complained, just said her stomach hurt and she should probably drink more water. While in reality she was in the worst pain of her life. She was the strongest person I knew. The news was devastating to our family. She was put on hospice the same day we received the diagnosis. She came back home to continue being cared for by her daughter Bonnie. They only expected her to live a week. She hung on for 24 days making sure everyone could say their goodbyes. She even had her last birthday party on June 6th. She passed away at home on June 13th at age 69. 

She is survived by her two brothers, Jerry Wheeler and Gary Wheeler, and sister Debbie Eliason. Seven children: Mary Witthuhn, Richard Ellis, Kimberly Theede, Jeremy Ellis, Curtis Ellis, Bonnie Ellis, and Victor Ellis. Fifteen grandchildren: Cody Lucas, Brayden Witthuhn, Sunny Vasquez, Sandy Vasquez, Blake Ellis, Karlee Theede, Lena Ellis, Brock Ellis, Kynlee Theede, Jacob Ellis, Beckham Lucas, Ginger Vasquez, Elaina Ellis, Eva Ellis, and Ivan Vasquez. 

She was surrounded by loved ones for the weeks before she passed. I stayed by her side to make sure her experience was euphoric. She was a beautiful soul. Anyone who met her immediately loved her. She will forever be missed. 

Although her youngest grandson Ivan only had three years with her, they spent the most time together. For that I will forever be grateful. My son got to know his grandmother, my best friend. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. Heaven has the most beautiful angel, our mother. We love you so much Momma 

I missed you the day you left. I missed you yesterday. I miss you today. I will miss you tomorrow. I will miss you for the rest of my life. Until we meet again momma
