Regina Marie Hernandez was born in Fontana, California. Born to
Nicholas and Juliette Padilla on October 29th,1946. Regina a lifelong
resident of Colton attended Kindergarten at Garfield and then
transferred to Immaculate Conception for her grammar school
before transferring into the Colton School District
and attended Colton Jr. High and then Colton High School,

where she graduated in June of 1964.
After graduating from Colton High School she went onto
college at Valley Community College and then to Beauty school.
Regina had three children. Daughter Elizabeth Marie Hernandez in
January 1970, Son Matthew James Hernandez in December 1972.
and son William Paul Hernandez in August 1978.

In 1982 Regina started her career working for the Colton Joint Unified
School District in Nutrition Services. She started off part time
before becoming full time. She worked at a number
of school sites before her permanent spot at Paul J Rogers and
becoming a Nutrition Service Manager. She worked there at Rogers
for 12 years before she retired in 2009. Regina dedicated 27 years
of service to the Colton Joint Unified School District Nutrition Services.
She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grand
children, sharing laughter with her family. She enjoyed singing in the
church choir at San Salvador where she attended for 20 years.
She loved to go on road ‘Adventure’ trips with her cousin Carol.
She is preceded in death by her father Nicholas Padilla,
mother Juliette Padilla, grandsons Alex and Jordan Hernandez.
She is survived by her brother Nicholas Robert Padilla, Sister-in-law
Lydia Padilla, daughter Elizabeth Marie Hernandez,
son Matthew James Hernandez, son William Paul Hernandez,
daughter-in-law Cristina Hernandez. Grandchildren Michael Jacobo,
Ashley Jara, Jessica & Nicholas Morentin, Matthew Jr, Ernest III &,
Katherine Hernandez, Andrew, Kristopher & Alexis Hernandez. and 12 
great grandchildren.

Regina will be forever missed and always loved by all her family.
Mom, we love you very much. It wasn’t enough time here with you but our
Father in Heaven called you home because it was His will. We will always
remember the good times until we meet again.

We love you always!!!!

A Celebration of Life will be held at San Salvador Catholic Church

Burial will Follow at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery
