JB (Rowdy) Williamson
February 25, 1960 - September 5, 2021
JB (Rowdy) Williamson, 61, of Corona, California, passed away on September 5th in his home with his wife, Carol, by his side and surrounded by their four children. He had fought a hard, 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rowdy was born and raised in Southern California, and spent his life in construction. Specializing as a skilled operator of heavy equipment, his children grew up learning the real value of hard work. He was always trying to make his community better by donating his time and expertise to the city of Corona. He was an influential part of the growth and development of the city that he loved so much.
In his spare time, he was passionate about fishing in the Sierra Nevadas. He and his family were commonplace in these mountains, always trying to catch the “big one.” It was rumored that Rowdy once caught a 10 lb. trout, but this was never confirmed. It was normal to hear him yelling, “Hook up, hook up!” from across the lake, alerting everyone around that he caught a fish.
Of all his accomplishments, he was most proud of his children, Josh, Brian, Rick and Sheryl. Aside from being survived by his wife of 39 years and his children, Rowdy also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kris, Lexi, Zach, Cara, Mariah, Everett, Aria, Hazel and Roman.
