Ronald W. Biewener, 89 passed away September 20, 2021 at his Claremont, CA home.
Ron was born October 17, 1931 to Walter and Teddy Biewener in Harrisburg, PA. The family moved to California when Ron was a young boy.
He attended Pomona High School, in Pomona, CA. After graduating Ron started an apprenticeship program in Plastic Injection Molding which would lead to his life-long career. After spending several years as an apprentice trainer, in 1977 Ron partnered with four other long-time colleagues to start their own successful company, Fairway Injection Molds in Walnut, CA.
During his apprenticeship years Ron also spent 8 years serving in the Navy Reserves as an Airman and aircraft mechanic.
In his free time Ron enjoyed cars, boating and motorcycles. Always tinkering and working on mechanics and maintenance, he stressed the importance of having a clean, well-maintained car to his children!
After his retirement in 1993, Ron fulfilled a lifelong dream of building a vacation home on the Colorado River near Parker, AZ and went on to spend happy vacations for many years, filled with boating and watercraft fun with family and good friends.
Ron is survived by his wife of 68 years Celia Biewener, a daughter and spouse Tamara and Chris Swanson, granddaughter and spouse, Dana Swanson Rowley and Jared Rowley, brother and spouse, Jim P. Biewener and Jo Anne Vasquez, granddaughter and grandson, Aubrey and Brennen Biewener, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by many family members, most recently his son, Robb W. Biewener in 2020, and nephew Michael Biewener in 2019.
Ron’s final resting place will be Oak Park Cemetery, 410 Sycamore Avenue, Claremont, CA, at this time no services have been planned.
