Julian Lugo 

February 17, 1963 -  October 15, 2021


Julian Lugo passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on October 15, 2021 in Hemet California at the age of 76.

Julian is survived by his wife, Kathie Lugo; children, Julian Jay Lugo IV, and Michelle Lugo; Grandchildren, Justina Lugo, Tavia Lugo, Aysha Mojarro, AJ Gonzalez, Adrianna Castellanos, Angelica Castellanos; Great Grandchildren, Giovanni Mojarro, Vicente Mojarro; siblings, All located in Texas, Elvira Gonzalez, America Ramos, Lola Pulido, Lupe Mireles, Ray Lugo and Juanita Vecchio. He is preceded in death by His father, Julian Lugo and mother, Maria Lugo from Lubbock Texas and his brother, Keno Lugo also from Lubbock Texas.

Julian was born on February 17 in Corpus Christi Texas. He married Elvira Mireles, in 1963. After moving to Indio California in 1969, Julian began working in the grocery and retail clerks’ business and held several positions at different markets in the area. In 1977 the family moved to San Jacinto where he worked for Alpha Beta for many years and finally retired in 2000.

He was an active and dedicated member of the Olive Branch Assembly of God Church, he served as an usher, cook for the men’s breakfast and above all, he loved God; Psalm 23:4. One of his joys was serving the lord. His other passions were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will always be remembered by his family for his compassion, working on jigsaw puzzles, watching westerns and for always being able to make people laugh.

A Celebration of life will be held at Inland Memorial Harford Chapel in Hemet California on Friday January 14th at 11 am, with a reception to follow location TBD. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Julian’s life.
