John Brian Exter

July 2, 1961 - December 4, 2021

With great sadness the family of John “Brian” Exter announces his passing at age 60, in Hemet, California 

Brian loved motorcycles and reading books.  He liked to surf and he liked to flirt. He was funny and quirky and he imbibed a bit. He lived life his way. He was well loved and he will be remembered fondly. He loved his children, his grandchildren, his family and friends. To all that knew him he was a good friend. He was adventurous, up for anything, and loved the water. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things and was an amazing carpenter. Brian will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his children Brandon (Marisol) and Brittany Barnett (Bobbie); significant other Lori Johnson; grandchildren Rosa, Nate, Ariana, Benjamin, Bella, Brooklyn, Arthur, Tecori, and Rich; his brothers Mark, Barry, and Ed and his sisters Linda and Roxanne. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Exter and Dorothy Sarjeant.

Memorial services will be held on January 3, 2022 11:00 am at Hermosa Gardens Funeral Home 900 Meridian St Colton, Ca 92324. Donations can be made to the funeral home directly.
