Richard Dwayne Summitt, 66 of Rialto, CA. passed away Friday, March 11th, 2022 at 9:55 pm after a fight with lung issues.
Rick was born August 6th, 1955 to Bill and Pat Summitt in Oklahoma. After Rick graduated from Alta Loma High School, he went on to study computers. He then opened a successful furniture business, Two Way Furniture, then later a roofing company, Summitt Roofing. A short time after that he found his love for Fire Science. After graduating with a degree in Fire Science and Arson 1, 2, and 3 he started his career off strong, but it was cut short due to medical issues.
In 1981, Rick met Vonnie; they married and went on to have one child, William (Bill) Joseph Summitt.
Rick’s hobbies were shooting pool, watching football and knowing all the statistics.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Bill Summitt and his mother Patricia Padziora.
He is survived by his son, William (Bill) Summitt, brother, Ron Summitt, sister, Kathy Summitt and many other relatives and friends.
He will be missed by all.
