Florence Ann Conrod
June 13,1932 -June 4, 2022
Florence Ann Conrod, was born into this world, June 13,1932, and peacefully went
to be with her Lord on June 4, 2022. Florence, was born to James & Frieda Conrod
and raised in Chicago, Illinois, She was the only daughter of four children. After
graduating from ugh School, Florence attended Northern Baptist Theological
Semimry. She met her husband, Richard Stanley Davies, in church at a youth
function, They were married, December 19,1952. They would have celebrated 70
years of marriage this December. Soon after they married, Richard was drafted into
the Army where he proudly served his country. Their first son, Daniel Andl-ew, was
born in Frankfurt, Germany. Arriving back in the United States, they had two more
sons, Donald Richard and Dave Philip.
Florence spent her early-married life as a housewife and a stay at home mom. The
Davies family were actively involved in their local church. Florence & Richard loved
to entertain and host church parties, some of which are still talked about today!
Most important to the Davies, was to ensure that their children became grounded
and had a firm foundation in God. After her children became adults, Florence being
excellent in math and figi.Ire.s; had a .st_Iccessful part time career in the Banking
Business, first, as a Teller and later as an Officer. She enjoyed her work and was
popular with her bosses and co-workers.
Florence always had a ready smile and enjoyed music, playing her organ, singing in
the church choir, swimming (which was a passion), line dancing, playing games with
family, shuffleboard, camping, bird watching-- especially hummingbirds and
cardinals. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. The past two and one half years, Florence and Richard
have lived in The Village, Hemet, California.
F]orence will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Florence is survived
by her husband, Richard, three sons, Daniel (Kathy), Donald (Barbara), Dave
(Barbara), one brother, Jim Conrod,13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren,
and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial donations honoring Florence can be
