Pearl Elizabeth Rebecca Ann (Doland) Jepsen, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the age of 88 years old. Pearl was born on Sept. 24, 1933, in Huron, South Dakota to William George Doland and Helena Theresa Doland (Peterson).
Pearl is survived by her sister Nancy Neuharth and her brother William Doland Jr. along with three of her four children, Debra Barnett, Patricia Jogminas and Gregory Jepsen, and her grandchildren Renee Clark, Jason Barnett, Frank James Jogminas, William Patrick Jogminas, Raymond Alvidrez and Ian Gregory Jepsen. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Pearl enjoyed making ceramics during the 1970s and won fourth place for her deer set. During the 1980 and 1990s she enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and butterflies. Butterflies always held a special place in her heart as her favorite grandmother always said she would return as a butterfly after her death. To this day, butterflies seem to be attracted to her family.
