Sylvia Lopez (Garcia-Chavez)

   February 10, 1953 - October 3, 2022

On the early evening of Oct. 3, 2022, our Mom, beloved Gram, GG, Sister, Auntie and Friend to many; lost her 2nd battle with cancer and "Went home to be with the Lord", and those that went before her to become an Angel to those of us left behind.........And so the circle continues.

Mom passed away at home surrounded by family. Sylvia was born on February 10, 1953 to father Isabelle Chavez (Lopez) and mother Anselma Chavez (Garcia). She was 1 of 15 siblings, of which only 8 remain. Sylvia was married to Arthur Lopez from Torres Martinez Rez. She had 4 kids, 14 grandchildren, and 24 great grands, with 1 on the way. She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother, Husband, 6 siblings, 1 grandchild and 1 great grand. She is survived by her 4 kids, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grands and 8 siblings.

The Viewing and Services will be held on Thursday October 13, 2022, at Inland Memorial Harford Chapel 120 N. Buena Vista St., Hemet, CA, public from 5pm - 8pm, family ONLY at 4pm. Refreshments will be served immediately following services, at Harford. Burial Services will be held on Friday October 14, 2022 at 10am, at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery 2555 S. Santa Fe St., San Jacinto, CA. Those that wish to escort Sylvia to the cemetery, we will be meeting at Harford's at 9:15am Friday to leave by 9:30am to be at the cemetery by 10am. Lunch will be provided at Soboba Tribal Hall following burial services.
